Kratom Legal Status In Different Countries

Though kratom has a number of health benefits to offer, the quantity of its consumption has always been an issue to worry about. Canada: The users in this country are at luck. There are no restrictions on this herb throughout the country whatsoever. You can easily find the herb in the local stores over the counter and without any prescription. Moreover, you are allowed to grow, buy or sell the kratom herb and it supplementary products anywhere within the country.

Denmark: Before 2009, Denmark had no legal restrictions or penalties on the sale and consumption of this herb in the country. However, currently it is considered as a controlled substance in the country and is therefore a substance with a few restrictions on its use.

New Zealand: As per the Medicines Amendment Regulations Act of 2009, Mitragyna Speciosa leaves and its products are categorized under Schedule 1 as a prescription drug.
